SHOPPERS are racing to Asda for a new bargain that is perfect for starting an early Christmas present haul – and even earns you money from the supermarket.
Sally-Ann took to Facebook to share the epic deal, sharing a snap of the LEGO Classic Creative Space Planets Toy Set.

Instead of £25, the set is just £12.
And not only is it less than half price, but you also get £2 put into your Asda Cashpot if you buy it – as part of the supermarket’s Mega Event.
“That’s one Xmas present brought and you get £2 rewards back,” Sally-Ann Asda near Reading.
The deal is currently only on in store, and is running until the 27th May.
“Do you need asda card to get these prices please anyone know?” one person asked in the comments section.
To which Sally-Ann replied: “No, but on the Lego you get £2 back in your cash pot if you scan the Asda app.
“Even at £12 it’s a bargain.
“I checked elsewhere and it’s all £20 plus!”
“Oh I’ll need to get to the big Asda!” another insisted.
The LEGO set is an “easy-to-build kids’ solar system toy, astronaut and space shuttle model kit”, and “is ideal for kids who want to build, play and boldly go where no LEGO builder has gone before”.
Children can build a toy rocket ship, alien, astronaut and a whole mini solar system with the bricks, including Mars, Earth, the sun and Saturn with its rings.
“The space toys can then be customised using alternative colours, shapes, eyes, expressions and a stand that allows the model to rotate,” the description for the set adds.
When do supermarkets put out yellow-sticker bargains?
The time supermarkets reduce their products vary across stores.
Here’s a rough supermarket-by-supermarket guide:
Aldi
Aldi uses a red sticker to show reductions on fresh products such as bread, meat, fruit and vegetables.
This is when they have reached the last day of shelf life.
Red stickered items are most commonly found at opening and closing times.
M&S
Reduction times can vary from store to store but is most likely to occur near closing time.
Asda
Asda told Which? that yellow stickers are applied twice a day – in the morning and evening.
Co-op
Co-op told The Sun its reduced-to-clear prices are generally applied about four hours before the store closes.
Lidl
Lidl has a similar procedure to Asda and Aldi with reductions twice a day.
However individual stores may opt to reduce prices throughout the day.
Morrisons
Shoppers online have said that Morrisons does the best bargains first thing in the morning.
However, the store told Which? that there are no specific times for yellow sticker price cuts.
Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s told The Sun it’s at the store manager’s discretion whether to offer discounts.
However, shoppers have reported that the best deals are in the evening from 6pm.
Tesco
Tesco has said there is no specific time for reduction, but again most people found that prices were reduced from 6pm.
Waitrose
As with most of the other stores, Waitrose shoppers have said the best reductions are found before closing.
However the store stated that there is no specific time for yellow stickers to be applied.
“There are even glow-in-the-dark bricks for nighttime visibility.”
Other items in Asda’s Mega Event deal include a 20-pack Classic Assortment of Walkers Crisps, down from £4 to £3.
While the Tropicana 900ml juices in smooth orange, orange with bits and apple are all £2 instead of £3 – with 50p going into the Cashpot.
