WE all dream of having a beautiful garden, but sadly our outdoor space can get overlooked as we have limited time to spruce it up.
Stacey Solomon has given her fans some much needed inspiration though, after sharing how she transformed her greenhouse in just two days.
Even better, the TV personality used décor from her Asda homewear range to do it.
Sharing the transformation on social media, she revealed that she’d been desperate to makeover the greenhouse at Pickle Cottage – which had been there since she moved in.
With cobweds and old gardening supplies cluttering up the place, the Renovation Rescue star began by giving the greenhouse a deep clean.
As the space had now been prepared, it was time to paint the tired silver fittings with a chic matte black finish.
Though we regularly see Stacey transform homes with a lick of paint, she claims that the greenhouse was the ‘hardest painting’ she’s ever done.
It’s hardly surprising as the mum-of-five had to tape off every glass panel with masking tape to get a neat finish.
Writing in the caption, she later told fans: “Honestly this was the hardest painting I’ve EVER done. But it was SO worth it.
“I cannot even believe the before videos! I honestly am so happy with what a bit of paint (and hours and hours of time) can achieve!”
“I can’t wait to hide in here on a regular basis,” she added.
Having spent 30 hours working on the greenhouse, the TV presenter wasn’t quite done just yet as she had to furnish her new hideaway.
To make the space extra cosy, she added string fairy lights to the space and around the base of the greenhouse.
In fact, the Fabulous team have found a similar string of 25 Solar Lights at Asda for £10 and a set of four Stick Solar Lanterns for just £12.
For anyone who wants to add internal lights like Stacey did, Asda also have Belize Raffia Flush Ceiling Lights (£45 each) and the wicker shades are almost identical to the TV host’s.
However, Stacey also added items from her own George at Asda collection to her garden.
This included the stunning Natural Jute Rug (£36), which has adorable scalloped edges and contrasting hues.
Perhaps out favourite addition to the space was a gorgeous Hanging Egg Chair, which looked almost identical to the viral one from B&M.
Currently £179 in the supermarket, the décor looked fantastic in the small space and help to bring the outdoors in with its natural material.
After adding a few more flower pots to complete the chic look, Stacey’s fans couldn’t believe how good the greenhouse looked – especially after spending just two days (30 hours) on it.
One fan gushed: “Gotta give it to you. When you set your mind to something. You go ahead & get it done. I love how artistic you are and hard working to boot.”
Another joked: “I need your motivation…and creativity I’ve got soooo much to do….unless you fancy a little holiday to North Wales.”
“Thats the neatest greenhouse I did ever see!!” wrote a third.
