EVERY canine is known to be a little mischievous on occasion and pitbulls are no exception.
Despite their bad reputation, the dog breed is more of a class clown than an antagonist, according to fans.

Pitbull owners shared their experiences with the breed on a Reddit thread started by user Emxx_.
“What’s the worst thing your dog has done?” asked the prompt on the popular post.
The original poster offered to go first, sharing an incriminating photo of their pitbull who got a little overexcited while playing indoors.
“Someone hit the wall while chasing her ball,” they captioned the photo, which showed the surprised-looking dog next to a concrete wall with a large dent.
Another dog lover revealed one of their dog’s many crimes, which they described as “not the worst” but still pretty bad.
“I still haven’t forgiven him for stealing my favorite hat off of my head and eating about a third of it,” they explained.
They joked that they “really liked that hat” and shared a photo of the destruction.
The brim of their hat was entirely missing from one side of the accessory.
“He likes to go on adventures but can’t be trusted off-leash,” the pet owner explained.
“He grabbed the hat while I was leaning down to get his water bottle out of my backpack.
They went on to label their pet pitbull a “perfidious little so-and-so.”
“I’m not convinced he couldn’t get it off my head while I’m standing up if he tried. I hope he never figures that out,” they joked.
Another dog parent related to having a pooch with a taste for hats.
“My female would destroy my husband’s work hats the second he sets them down and walks away,” they wrote.
“She’s now gotten sneaky and will hide them until she’s alone.”
Signs your dog could turn dangerous
Expert advice from Dr. Sara Ochoa, who has been practicing veterinary medicine for over five years.
Ochoa told The U.S. Sun observing a dog’s behavior can provide clues that they might act out.
“A dog that looks tense all over with its fur sticking up or teeth showing is more likely to snap,” she said.
“Staring real hard without blinking could mean trouble too.
“Growling is also a warning the dog is getting mad.”
She said dogs may tuck their tail between their legs when they feel scared or threatened.
“Staying calm and keeping space may help things not to escalate if a dog seems on edge,” she said.
One dog owner revealed similar destruction carried out by their canine in their house.
“He chewed a hole in the floor of my brand new house I had for less than a year while he was still in the crate,” they said.
“I still have no f**king idea to this day how he did it.”
“Mine bit through the screen of my work laptop while it was on my desk, on a riser,” shared another pet parent.
“I’m still not sure how he managed it, honestly.”
