GETTING stronger or improving your fitness levels – just some of the reasons why we may push ourselves to go to the gym even when we don’t feel like it.

But a proud ”cougar” has recently revealed what her main motivation is on days when she lacks energy– younger blokes working out at the gym.

Taking to Instagram, coach Pam Campbell, 52, shared how men who are younger work wonders when she needs that little extra push to head for a session.

The blonde stunner, believed to be from the USA, proudly shared the secret formula in a clip where she could be seen yawning.

”When you’re tired AF [as f**k] at the gym – but you’re single and love younger guys.

”Never miss a gym day,” the self-confessed cougar said in the video.

”Enough said! Anyone relate??” Pam was wondering if she was the only one.

The 52-year-old gym babe ended the ”bad marriage” with her previous partner after she had fallen ”into depression”.

Imagine an older man saying this about younger women

But after years of working on herself, Pam – who wants kids – reckons she is ready for a new start with a future Romeo.

”I remember turning 40. In a bad marriage because I settled. I wanted kids and family but my clock was ticking,” she bravely opened up on her page.

”My husband was an addict and wasn’t working. I was working 6am-7pm in the gym.”

”Now I can say I will be the best, supportive and loving partner.

”I am always working on me, but I am much more aware and able to love another unconditionally,” she said, proudly showing off her toned and muscular body.

But despite being praised for ”teaching women in perimenopause to lift heavier”, Pam has also been brutally criticised for her cougar lifestyle.

Hundreds insisted that it the roles were reversed, the reaction would be totally different.

One said: ”Imagine an older man saying this about younger women… he would be labelled a groomer.”

The director and actor reportedly met at a film audition in 2009, and were married by 2012. The pair share two daughters and Sam has two children from a previous marriage.

The pair was introduced at a film festival in 1996 and engaged three years later. Shortly after their engagement, the couple welcomed a son and married in 2000.

Another agreed, writing: ”Now imagine a 50 yo [year-old] man posted this he’d be called a creep and a paedo.. but it’s OK for women.”

”Eww no thanks,” chimed in another, as a fourth reckoned the behaviour was ”sad”.

Luckily for Pam, it wasn’t all trolling, as there was some support – and even a few keen Romeos-to-be.

”I’m built for an older woman,” wrote one bloke, hoping for a gym date with the coach.

Another wondered: ”Yeah which gym you at? It’s chest day today.”
