A WOMAN has revealed she was given a formal warning after sending her twin sister to work in her place when her boss wouldn’t approve her holiday.
Ari and Noe Chance regularly swap places when it suits them, with Ari turning to her sibling when boss John put his foot down.

However, things didn’t go quite to plan when Noe posted while she was covering her sister – which led to John finding out.
He then send Ari a lengthy email reprimanding her for her decision to enlist Noe.
Ari shared a look at the email in a TikTok video captioned: “We messed up!”
She wrote over the top of the clip: “My boss saw the video my twin posted while covering me at work.”
The original video Noe posted has since been deleted.
They’re just mad you outsmarted them!

Ari’s TikTok then shared a closer look at the email she’d received from John, which began with him saying he was “utterly appalled” by her behaviour.
“Let me be clear: your decision to enlist your twin sister as a substitute while you gallivant off on vacation after your leave request was denied is completely unacceptable,” he continued.
“It’s a slap in the face to both your colleagues who abide by the rules and the company that entrusts you with responsibilities.”
While he didn’t name the company, he did accuse Ari of “tarnishing” its reputation.
“Your actions not only reflect poorly on yourself but also tarnish the reputation of our company,” he wrote.
“This level of disregard for protocol and decorum is frankly shocking and will not be tolerated.”
John concluded the email by asking for a “sincere apology” and an “immediate explanation” from Ari, adding: “I expect to hear from you promptly to discuss how we can address this egregious breach of trust and professionalism.”
“Disappointed regards,” he signed off.
What things on social media can get you fired?
AS Ari discovered, trying to trick the boss when he's denied your holiday doesn't down too well with the company. But what other things on social media might lead to a sudden firing?
Posting negative comments about your job, clients or boss
Revealing your own controversial opinions that may reflect badly on your employer
Posts – even from years ago – that portray you in a bad light and therefore affect the company’s image
Sharing private company information – don’t post about taking on new clients until things have been confirmed
Posting at work – many companies have policies about simply using social media at work, it’s worth checking your own company’s one
However, Ari didn’t appear to be taking the warning too seriously, pulling faces as the email flashed up on the screen.
People were quick to weigh in on the situation, with one writing: “They’re just mad you outsmarted them lol.”
“Advice to the s**tty company; don’t deny peoples time off requests,” another added.
“Oh John, she quit the moment you denied her vacation,” a third commented.
“You were lucky she cared enough to place a warm body in her absence.”
“‘John’ sounds like a douche bag anyways,” someone else wrote.
