But one woman has revealed the results of using a hair serum and shampoo for six months.

BEHAPRO Rosemary Oil for Hair Growth and Hair Growth Shampoo has been awarded 4.4 out of five stars online.

It is said to offer “a comprehensive solution for those seeking to address hair loss” as well as “promote hair growth, restore vitality to the hair and repair hair”.

It’s “suitable for all hair types, including normal, thinning, and frizzy hair”.

And the sellers said: “If [you are] not seeing the results you want after three months, please write to us for a refund!”

The two products are used in different ways but also in conjunction.

The shampoo should be used first when washing the hair.

Then the hair growth serum should be applied on the scalp to “stimulate hair follicles for regrowth and prevents hair loss”.

And then to the hair ends to “strengthen and nourish”.

And Sam H left a glowing review online with before and after pictures.

“Amazing product”, she titled. “My hair has always been so thin and sparse, the photo speaks for itself.

“This was over around six months. My hair feels so much thicker, I won’t use anything else.”

Mary Barlow also uploaded an image and commented: “I can highly recommend this product as I have suffered from alopecia in the past and I am actually seeing some regrowth and thickness for the first time.

“A great price too for such quality as it leaves my hair lovely and moisturised without being greasy.”

Rebecca Hough added: “I have been using this for about a month now, and can already start seeing the difference. My hair feels thicker/fuller and looks much healthier!”

Lynda Rutherford revealed how the products worked for her: “After menopause my hair became fine and not as dense.

“I’ve been using it for about five months now [and] I am amazed at how much [hair growth I’ve seen].”

The bundle is currently £6.72 and available at Amazon.

The 4 stages of the hair growth cycle

Hair experts at Philip Kingsley shared the four stages of the hair growtn cycle are: Anagen, Catagen, Telogen and Exogen

Anagen Phase: Also known as the ‘Growth Phase’ or ‘Active Phase’, is when the cells in the root of your hair are most rapidly dividing so more new hair is formed.

During the Anagen Phase, hair grows around half an inch a month [about six inches a year], and faster in the summer than in winter.

This phase of the hair growth cycle lasts an average of three to five years.

Catagen Phase: Following the Anagen Phase, your hair cycle enters a short transitional phase known as the Catagen Phase, which signals the end of active hair growth and cuts individual hairs off from the blood supply and from the cells that produce new hair.

Approximately three percent of all hairs are in this stage at any time and it lasts for around 10 days.

Telogen Phase: The third stage of your natural hair growth cycle is the Telogen Phase, a resting period when strands remain in their follicles but are not actively growing.

An estimate of 10-15 percent of your hairs are in the Telogen Phase at any given moment.

The Telogen Phase lasts around three months or 100 days.

Exogen Phase: The final stage of the Hair Growth Cycle, when individual hair strands are released from their follicles and fall out.

Now the whole process begins again.
