Redditor XtinaCMV worked at MAC and Ulta for thirteen years combined.

In a post, she shared seven beauty buys that she is “still very pleased with.”

She admitted that she used to “cake on the makeup,” so she knows which products are worth the purchase.

“Now that I’m not working in cosmetic sales, I’ve toned it down a lot,” she said.

The items have been an integral part of her routine year-round, so she offered honest feedback for each one.

She first praised the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation +Skincare, $46. saying, “I absolutely love the long and natural wear.”

She also said she wears the MAC Cosmetics Prep + Prime Highlighter Pen, $30, in the shade Radiant Rose.

The pale pink color corrector helps her “not look like a zombie.”

A budget-friendly Target item is also the secret to her full brows.

She explained that the Benefit Gimme Brow Tinted Brow Gel, $15, has a great hold and tints her brows so they match her hair color better.

Xtina admitted she was “super bummed” when they discontinued the NYX eye pencil in the shade Seashell, but still raved about the product.

“It’s amazing for the waterline to brighten my eyes,” she said.

She called the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Contour Skinstick, $32, “amazing” for its shade range.

The cream contour item is also very pigmented and easy to blend.

When it came to the Thrive Causemetics mascara, $26, all she could say was “holy cow.”

Dermatologist Dr. Brendan Camp shared his dermatologist-approved tips with The U.S. Sun.

The “bomb mascara” lengthened her lashes like “no other product has done before.”

“I’ve never had an issue with flaking, even if I accidentally rub my eyes,” she said.

Lastly, the Reddit user revealed her long-standing go-to setting spray that she has used for over a decade.

The MAC Prep + Prime Fix+, $33, gently soothes skin and locks in makeup.
