THE ICED latte season is finally upon us – and now a major supermarket has announced a special machine for coffee on the go.
As Brits, we love our coffee almost as much as we love our cuppa – so much so that the average UK coffee drinker will sip on almost 18,000 litres – or 62,000 mug-fulls – over their lifetime.

And if you fall into in the coffee lover category and can’t imagine your summer walks without a refreshing iced latte, best pop down to your local Marks & Spencer.
With the temperatures finally warming up, the popular high street retailer and supermarket has added brand new coffee machines for brew on the go – and yes, they do have the iced latte option too.
The addition, which comes just in time for the summer season, has already become all the rage on social media.
One delighted customer, only known as Clio, took to TikTok to share the Fabulous news with fellow coffee super fans.
”New Iced Latte machine in M&S!” the 21-year-old fitness enthusiast told her viewers in the video.
According to the young shopper, who’d spotted the find at the Banbridge branch in Northern Ireland, customers can choose the plastic cup and fill it up with an iced brew at a purse-friendly £2.50.

What’s more, the store also hasn’t forgotten about dairy-free options – Clio added that there’s a separate machine for oat milk lovers, which she’d made sure to check out.
There are also options for add-on syrup, with vanilla being one of the picks, the customer noted.
The brand new option to pick up an iced latte on the go has been dubbed ”a game-changer”, especially as a number of countries, including Poland, Latvia and Lithuania, already have these available ”at every petrol station”, according to one person.
More than a hundred people raced to comments to share their thoughts, as well as tag their pals.
”The dream,” one couldn’t believe the news.
Someone else agreed: ”Such a slay.”
”These actually look so good,” a third told their friends.
”They have one in Waterloo station guys!
”And you can get a hot drink as part of their meal deal!” a M&S’ super fan told others.
How to make the perfect iced brew at home
With the weather finally getting more sunny, it’s only natural we want to add ice to our caffeinated brews – but more often that not, they never hit the spot.
Luckily, an expert recently shared the reason behind this– and turns out, it’s all about following the correct order.
The Coffee Guy, otherwise known as Ethan, said: “Everybody teaches you to make an iced latte by putting the syrup in first, milk, then ice, then espresso or some variation of that, and then mixing it with your straw.
“The issue with this is that the syrup’s not homogenous with the milk, and the espresso’s not homogenous with the syrup, and nothing’s mixed in fully together.”
The solution is pretty straightforward – simply give it all a good mix using a cocktail shaker, a blender bottle or even a mason jar.
