One even raved about the ‘pretty’ lights on social media and shared a photo of them strung in her garden[/caption]

Rather than gatekeeping her latest bargain buy, one shopper decided to rave about it on Facebook.

Posting in the Gardening on a Budget group, the user revealed that she’d bought the Firefly Rose String Solar Lights on a whim and had been impressed with how powerful they were

It’s not hard to see why as the Facebook user shared a photo of lights in her garden.

As well as giving a subtle warm glow in the garden, these solar powered automatically charge during the day and switch on at dusk – making them ideal for long summer evenings.

It also means you won’t have to faff around with wiring or constantly replace the batteries, with the product description stating that the ‘solar lights offer a hassle-free and energy-efficient solution’.

Even better, the fairy lights had a stunning rose and leaf design which Home Bargains said would add ‘a touch of romance to your garden’.

Unsurprisingly, the Facebook user was in love with them after finding the lights in her local store.

Sharing a photo of the lights hung against her wooden fence, she wrote: “Love these lights under £4 from home bargains and brighter than I expected.”

It seem the amateur gardener wasn’t the only one who had fallen for the romantic string lights, with others also comment on them as they went viral.

One even gushed: “Looks so pretty.”

Another even begged the original poster not to share the item in the group, as she’d spent a small fortune last time she visited the discount store.

They joked: “Oh my! Don’t have me going to Home Bargains for them! Last time I went in for tooth paste and shampoo…it cost me £51!”

If you are tempted to get the rose shaped lights, a set of 20 string lights is currently just £3.99 while stock last.

Even better, you can add a bit more glam to your outdoor space as the discount store are also selling a solar-powered string light curtain for only £12.99.
