Shoppers are racing to the Home Bargains website to nab a reduced patio heater[/caption]Jodie took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her epic buy.
“Ordered this Swan Patio Heater last week for £30 reduced from £180 from Home Bargains online!!” she wrote.
“Can’t believe it’s still in stock!
“Can’t wait to use mine!”
In a description on the Home Bargains website, they state that the heater is “ideal for parties, outdoor dining, or just relaxing with friends”.
“Swans Stand Patio heater is great for keeping everyone in your garden warm to get a few more hours out of your outdoor space,” they added.
However, people in the comments section argued that the website had “inflated” the price to make it seem like a bigger saving.
“No way was it 179.99 to start off with!” one wrote.
“I only paid £30 a few years back… only £23.99 on Amazon!”
“Well-inflated price to make the reduced price look good,” another insisted.
“Average price for last 5 years is about £30.
“Amazon have one at £23 but other retailers are still £30 also.
“No swan product for the house would be near £200!”
Despite the remarks about the original price, the heater has glowing reviews on the Swan website.
“Really great heater,” one wrote.
“Looking forward to getting the chance to use this to relax outside of an evening & not get too cold!”
“Easy to put together,” another added.
“Exceeded my expectations in all areas!”
“Bought on the flash sale and was an absolute bargain,” a third commented.
“Great heater / feels sturdy enough and easy to use!”
“Stylish and effective heater,” someone else wrote.
“Impressed with this product both in cost and performance.”
